Pg. 341 HW

1. Everyone in each of the posters is centered. This lets the viewer know the the poster is important. The ones of Uncle Sam and other pictures that are pointing are the ones that come out at you. The ones that draw you in are the ones of people standing there as if they were inviting you in with them. The ones with more serious facial expressions and more serious body positions are more meaningful and stand our as if they were really important. The designers were trying to get their own point across and get their goals accomplished through these posters.

2. You need to know what the people feel around you. You also need to know what to put on the poster that will effect the people as a nation and not just as an individual. This means you need to think of how the poster will effect the people so that they do not get upset or angry with the designers.

3. The posters would be different if they were actual pictures instead of paintings because then people would actually know that a true soldier wanted of needed their help instead of a cartoon. But also, this could mean the posters were more graphic and they wouldn't have the same effect on the people. It would make them more serious as opposed to more cartoon like.
